DEFINITION
This field contains a narrative description of the message being queried, in sufficient detail to enable the Receiver to positively identify that message.
NETWORK VALIDATED RULES
If this message is used in category 1 or category 2 and if the first six characters in line 1 contain the character string /REJT/ or /RETN/, then it is mandatory to follow the Payments Reject/Return Guidelines described in the Standards MT Usage Guidelines.
