DEFINITION
This qualified generic field specifies:

Amount Computed |
Amount of the penalty calculated based on the security and instruction characteristics and the reason for the fail. For a Late Matching Fail Penalty (LMFP) that spans several business days, this amount is the sum of the amounts calculated for each applicable business day. A positive amount indicates that the party is entitled to the penalty whereas a negative amount indicates that the penalty is due to the counterparty. |
NETWORK VALIDATED RULES
The integer part of Amount must contain at least one digit. A decimal comma is mandatory and is included in the maximum length. The number of digits following the comma must not exceed the maximum allowed for the specified currency.
Currency Code must be a valid ISO 4217 currency code.
If Amount is zero, Sign must not be present.
